1. Booking and Payment

All counselling sessions are booked and paid for in advance through our secure online platform. You will receive a confirmation email upon successful booking and payment.

 

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, please review our policy below:

  • Cancellations by Client:
    More than 24 hours’ notice: You may reschedule or request a full refund.
  • Less than 24 hours’ notice: Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are non-refundable. You may request a reschedule at the discretion of your counsellor, subject to availability. 
  • No-shows:
    Missed sessions without prior notice will not be refunded.
  • Cancellations by HDK Counselling:
    In the unlikely event that we need to cancel or reschedule your session, you will be notified promptly and offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
  • Online Sessions – Network Responsibility
    For clients attending online sessions, it is your responsibility to ensure that you have a stable internet connection. If a session cannot continue due to network issues on your side, the session will not be refunded but may be rescheduled once at the counsellor’s discretion.If technical issues arise after the session has already started, no refund will be provided. We ask that clients please test their connection and setup before the scheduled time to avoid disruptions.

 

3. Refund Process

Refunds, when applicable, will be processed back to the original method of payment within 7–10 business days. If you have not received your refund within that time, please contact us at info@hdkcounselling.co.za.

 

4. Shipping Policy

As HDK Counselling provides virtual and in-person services only, no physical products are shipped. All correspondence, receipts, and links for online sessions are sent electronically to the email address provided during booking.
